August 2025. Its one of my favourite restaurants to visit every now and then. We ordered momo mutton soup and garlic noodles veg along with masala chai. It tastes amazing for a moment it reminded me of the chowmein noodles back in New delhi where i originally had it. It tastes authentic and delicious. Mutton soup is worth every single cent. The portion size was amazing and its a complete dinner meal. The goat pieces and soup combination with chicken momos tastes delicious together and makes up to a wholesome meal. Its a must try for a goat lover and i promise you will order it again and again. Masala chai is delicious too. Love it jhigu boye and thank you for bringing the nepalese flavours right here to our tables. 10/ 10 from my side. Will visit again for new dishes!

Visited Jhigu bhoye Chhen and had a great experience. We started with tea, and the flavour was absolutely top notch — it instantly felt like being back in Nepal.
The Chatpate was okay, but I felt it could use a bit more masala to enhance the taste. The Mix Wo Tama soup was amazing — soft, rich, and very comforting. The Mix Fried Rice was simple and plain, but in a good way — very standard and satisfying. The Chicken Momo tasted just like authentic Nepalese street food, which we really loved.
We drove all the way from the Gold Coast (about an hour), and it was totally worth it. Great ambience, plenty of parking space, and overall amazing food.
Highly recommended if you’re craving authentic Nepali cuisine! 🇳🇵

Recently visisted Jhigu Bhoye Chen. The main highlight was the Jhol momo. Each bite of momo transported me back to the bustling streets of Nepal, where these flavours are a staple.
We also tried Samay baji , a traditional Newari dish which included variety of items. Each element was uniquely flavoured and combined to create a balanced and satisfying meal. To compliment the meal, we had lychee mocktail which enhanced our experience. Overall, the authenticity and quality of the food, along with the welcoming ambiance and excellent service, made this an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Nepalese cuisine.

Absolutely loved my experience at Jhigu Bhoye Chhen! From the moment we walked in, the warm hospitality and friendly service made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding and full of authentic Nepalese flavour. The momos with soup are a must-try incredibly tasty and comforting. We also loved the chicken noodles and fried rice, both cooked perfectly with great flavour and generous portions. The spices were well balanced and everything tasted fresh. The atmosphere was cosy and inviting, making it a great place for family or friends. Highly recommended for anyone wanting authentic Nepalese food! 🍛🥟🙏

First time here last night and we will definitely be back! The samosas were a good size and flavourful. I had the chicken curry which was hands down the best curry I've ever tasted!! Plenty of chicken and the curry sauce was delicious and aromatic, not spicy - totally recommended!! My vegetarian partner had the Chow Mein - nothing particularly stand out about the dish, but still good. Would have been nice if there was a vegetarian option for the curry. The serving sizes were big and the dishes priced reasonably. Our meals came out very quickly and the staff were really lovely and friendly. Thanks for a great experience :)

After driving past this place many times without stopping I have now been three times in the past six weeks. The food here is fantastic and the service is just as good. The staff are attentive, and helpful and if you haven’t had Nepalese before they are more than willing to point you in the right direction. We had their new platter last night and the mix of food was a perfect way to sample multiple dishes. Brilliant value for money and complimented by a very nice Barasinge Pale Ale. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back for more.

Saroj the owner is so passionate about what food he offers at the restaurant. He made sure to explain that some of the dishes are served authentically cold. We were keen to try their local dishes so we ordered Samay Baji Set, which was served cold and it was so so tasty. We also tried their chowmain and chilli momos, and they were the best we've had in town so far. He also told us some stories from his county and overall it was a very positive experience. We would definitely love to come back to try other authentic dishes they have to offer. Thank you Saroj and team.

If you live in or around Coorparoo, do yourself a favour and try this place out. Was a little hesitant as we had never tried Nepalese before but it did not disappoint. The Chowmein was excellent and light, the chilli chicken was awesome and spicy, and the chilli Momo was delicious. The chilli Momo was hot as advertised, so if you like the heat you are in luck, this dish will deliver. If you don’t like the heat get the normal Momo, the flavours of the filling is outstanding. We had the Pilsner and Pale ale Nepalese beers, the Pale ale was a stand out, made my top 10 Pale ale list, love the pop top lids on the bottles too. And on top of it all it is very affordable. Food came out fast, happy unpretentious family vibe, service was good too. Very happy with our Saturday night choice of dinner. Will def be returning and I hope many people give it a try, restaurants come and go in this little set of shops but this restaurant needs to stay in business. Love it.

We had my son's birthday dinner at Jhigu Bhoye Chhen last weekend and it was really a meal to remember! Our first time experiencing Nepalese cuisine, we were very pleasantly surprised at just how different and flavoursome all the dishes were. The restaurant owner was super helpful in explaining menu items to us and describing the ingredients. He was also very attentive and readily to hand to help with anything extra we needed. The 6 of us had a fantastic evening and a wonderful dinner! Can't wait to go back!

My partner and I ordered some take away and it was so fresh and delicious! We ordered the Samosas, Roti (best I’ve ever had), Steamed Rice, Chilli chips and Chilli Chicken! The Chilli Chips and Chicken were unlike anything I’ve ever had in the best way but do be warned it is packed with spice which we loved! Everything was super flavourful, Will definitely be back :))
Staff were super nice in pick up too and everything is very well priced!
Thankyou!

I am very much delighted 🤩 by the food and the services at Jhigu Bhoye. I was sailed back to memories when I used to enjoy mo:mo back home. The mo:mo(dumplings) are my fav. The way we pour gravy or sauce on those dumplings 🥟 make me feel like I am eating mo:mo back home at Nepal.the other thing is that you get unlimited sauce for those mo:mo. The warmth and hospitality of the staff was very much joyful and belongingness. These days it’s my go to lunch place. Thank you 🙏

Jhigu Bhoye Chhen is a hidden gem in Brisbane serving up authentic Nepalese cuisine. They offer a variety of dishes, but their momos are a must-try!
The momos are packed with flavor and come with a delicious dipping sauce. In fact, they've been called the best momos outside of Nepal! If you're looking for a taste of Nepal in Brisbane, this is the place to go. They also feature traditional Newari dishes, rounding out a truly unique dining experience.

A Flavorful Journey Into Nepali Cuisine!
We had an unforgettable meal at this fantastic Nepali restaurant. We started with the chicken choila, which was absolutely amazing! The chicken was perfectly grilled, with a smoky char and the ideal balance of spicy, tangy, and fresh herbs. It was a perfect way to kick off the meal.
Next, we moved on to the chowmein, and it did not disappoint. The noodles were perfectly cooked, crispy in some parts and tender in others, with just the right amount of seasoning. It was packed with vegetables and flavorful chicken, making each bite a delight.(exactly like bhati wala )
Finally, we ended with the jhol momo. These dumplings were tender and flavorful, served in a savory, slightly spicy broth that was rich and satisfying. The momo filling was juicy, and the broth added a comforting touch to the dish.
The food was authentic, delicious, and clearly made with love. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy, making it a perfect place for a memorable meal. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re craving authentic Nepali flavors. I’ll definitely be back for more 👌

Food here is just magical. I been here before but today tried it for dinner and trust me everything was amazing. We heard a lot about Jhigu Bhoye Chhen and it didn’t disappoint. The momo with mutton soup was so tasty, perfect for winter. Tried the Samaya bhaji set and mix bara, both delicious. Finished with yamuri and Khufi for dessert, so good.
Thank you for the wonderful food!
